Default Mass and het transfer using eulerian model

I'm modeling a fixed bed biomass gasifier using the Eulerian multiphase model. In order to model the heat and mass transfer between the solid phase and the gas phase one has to define solid and gas materials as a mixture material, that way one is able to define which specie in one phase is being transfered to an other specie in the other phase. When I do this , my case diverges, non iterating even ONCE.

yet I have not coded out the UDFs for the mass and heat transfer currently I'm just using constant rates.

whatever idea just let me know. if someone has modeled a fixed bed gasifier in FLUENT that would be cool.

thanks in advance
