Gambit: non-conformal facets?

When trying to mesh an airfoil shaped vane, I get the following message: "Warn: Failed to generate conformal facets for vane1, using non-conformal facets instead." I assume this means that the mesh for the vane will be non-conformal, which I'd like to avoid if possible.
I have tried to simplify the geometry as much as possible. The part consists of an annulus with a set of airfoil shaped vanes in the annulus to swirl the airflow. Each vane is connected to the inner and outer wall of the annulus via a small fillet. I am using a curvature based sizing function to vary the mesh size as the curvature changes on the vane. Any suggestions? |
