Dynamic Mesh _ Rotational Motion of a Rigid Plate

Dear FLUENT6.2 user;
Consider a thin rectangular plate that rotates around one of its edges. In 2D, this problem is simplified to a line that rotates around one of its ends. For a spesific purpose I want to use dynamic mesh capability of the software. What UDF function should I use to describe this motion? I think that Using CG_motion function, leads to a translational motion of the plate not rotational. Many thanks for your kindly attention, ROOZBEH |

Hi,.. You can dothis without udf, you can write a profile.. use time and z coordinate. will provide you the profile file if required.

This profile may help you...
((wall point 3) (time 0.001 0.01 0.1) (theta_z 0 -0.397 -4.367) ) |
