I have been trying to run Fluent on a cluster consisting of 4 hp 64 bit hp itaniums. Each has passwordless ssh between each other node. Each once can launch Fluent and the command ssh node1 fluent works as well. From what i could tell I should run using the command "fluent -t2 -pethernet -mpi=mpich1-ssh -cnf= hostfile.hosts". This gives the following error message "-mpi option "mpich2-ssh" not supported with this hardware/interconnect". Is this not supported on itaniums? Is rsh access required for itaniums?
