May be I can suggest you something if you could tell me what are you doing? Are you able to iterate successfully?is your solution converged?is your mass is conserved?

what i understand is, you ahve successfully iterated, and you get this as a error when you try to display contours of temperature or velocity.

Do you mean to display it as a filled temperature option?

I am using fluent to model Inductively coupled plasma. It was sucessfully iterated and converged. Only Temp and velocity contours (filled) showd discete contours. Can i know the reason.

I dont have background of Fliud Dynamics.

If the problem is getting the discrete values at each cells instead of a continuously varying contour across cells, you may not have turned on the nodal values in the display contours option.

Increase the number of contour ranges from 20 to 100. That'll smooth out the plot. Also make sure nodal values is selected.

Good luck, Jason

I have tried clicking node values and ranges also but the problem still exits.(Coutour shows some lines and some dots)
