Hi all,

I am a new user of fluent. Anybody that had experience in heat flow in biomass gasifier modeling, please tell me what are the important parameters that we need to use during pre and post processing.

Thanks in advance.

Important parmeters include the fuel moisture content and heating value. Is plain air used for gasification or an oxygen enriched stream. What is the air temperature? You will need to know the gasification rate of the biomass, hopefully as a function of temperature, the products of gasification, and the ultimate amount of the biomass gasified. Will there be some combustion to generate heat for gasification? Will temperatures be hot enough that melting of inorganic component of biomass is a problem?
