Hi, I am new to compiled UFD. I have written a C-program and I want to compile using Compiled UDF.

I have no idea how to go about this. I read a pdf from internet and it had instructions to copy some files and so on..... Its not very clear.

Can any one help me with the basic steps required for compiling the compiled UDFs. By steps I mean from copying the files from so and so directory till the very end.

just add the source files under Define/User-Defined/Functions/Compiled, press "Build" and, if successful, load it. I recommend the udf manual from the fluent documentation if you want to gather more information about that.

But now I am now having a new problem. My libary is built, but when I try to load it, the get the following message...

"C:/Documents and Settings/Avinash"

Opening library "libudf"... Library "libudf\ntx86\2d\libudf.dll" opened Error: open_udf_library: couldn't get udf_data The specified procedure could not be found.

only to tell you that I have the very same problem. I guess it is related to the "environment variables" set up in my windows configuration (in the control panel, system properties).

But anyway, I cannot solve it. If you Avinash, or any of you, have solved this problem, I would very much appreciate your contributions.
