Well,
I find a deep difference for the mesh generation (time needed, CAD functions) when I shift from Gambit to ANSA. Consider your applications, too: I'm involved in automotive. Giorgio |

Best & easy do not necessarily go together. This is a near-religious question, that has been beaten to death before. Your choice of favourite software also depends on the types of meshes (tet, hex, unstructured, structured, with prism layers, etc.) that best suit your application. In my experience, ALL meshing programs will drive you to (or possibly over)the brink of insanity if you are trying to do anything non-trivial. At some point I would like to exchange notes about how many pins others have stuck in their various voodoo dolls representing the various mesh code developers.
