hi,i am working in czochralski crystal growth too. I found that with the boundary condition of crucible and crystal's rotation, the solution hard to converge. Even it converged the value of velocity change much when I continue to iterate.

I think you have to refine grid near walls e.g. by boundary layers in GAMBIT.
