construct a periodic boundary condition in Gambi?

Dear all,

I have a rectangular channel,and i would like to set up my top and bottom walls, front and back periodic, and inlet outlet periodic. What i did in Gambit is that

1. construct a rectangular 2. connect faces: front and back face

connect faces: front and back face 3. go to mesh : link face meshes

face inlet link with outlet

face front link with back 4. mesh volumes: volume1 5. goes to the boundary condition setup

inlet outlet in 1 set: define periodic BC

front back in 1 set: define periodic BC

Am i correct?? or i miss anything?? can anyone help me? I can't find a good tutorial for the 3D periodic BC setup thanks
