Default Help required regarding wall boundary condition

I am simulating flow between two plates. the flow is due to vertical harmonic motion of a plate between these to plates and i am using dynamic mesh. Every thing is running fine but At the moving plate i am using no slip boundary condition. when i plot velocity at the wall of the moving plate it gives always zero velocity instead it should give velocity of the plate at that instant as plate is moving.. Can any body suggest me what i am doing wrong or i should change wall boundary condition. Thankyou for Reply RASHAD

Hi Rashad,

By default Fluent declares all walls to be no slip and adiabatic. Hope you knw what these terms mean.

Based on your statements you need to declare a free slip condition near the wall.

Thanks Regards Rajit
