I want to adjust gradient of temperature on the cylinder's wall (from eg. 1010K on the top to the 1000 on the bottom) in simulation of Czochralski process. But in my program, in Boundary Conditions I can adjust only constant temperature. How can I change it? I use Fluent 6.0

If you dont want to use udf you can try this:
1. Define a constant temperature along the cylinder wall. 2. Use file->write->profile to write the temperature profile along the wall into a text file. 3. Edit the temperatures in the text file. 4. Import the new profile with file->read profile. It will be available in the boundary conditions. RoM |
