Hi everyone!

I want to use VOF and solidification&melting model to simulate the melting of metal and the flow of liquid metal in fluent6.2.

At first,I just made a simple case to implement my thought.the left region was patch in metal and right region was full of air.But the result go contrary to my wishes.the metal began to melt and flow on the fluence of the gravity even if there is no heat source was added. I use a sketch map to describe my problem.I don,t know why??Can anybody help me to solove this problem?

Sorry my poor English. Thanks in advance
