Hey I am using some non linear boundary profile at the velocity inlet. But fluent is not allowing me to initialize the domain using this boundary profile instead I have to give some constant velocity at while initializing the domain.
Can any one suggest how can I initialize the domain using non linear velocity profile? |

Hi,
You could probably use a UDF(DEFINE_PROFILE) to give the boundary profile you need. Look at the examples in the UDF Manual of Fluent and see if it is similar to what you want. http://www.fluentusers.com/fluent/do...df/node271.htm Bye |

If you're running Fluent 6.2 or on you can initialize with a constant and then use the FMG initialization (the TUI command is: solve init fmg yes) to improve the initialization.
Hope this helps, and good luck, Jason |
