Hello everyone,
I created a user subroutine and trying to compile a new executable by using user_sub batch file provided with Fidap. I am using it like this; user_sub fidap myfidap fidap_user and getting the following; ************************************************** ***************** USER_SUB: INCORPORATE A USER SUBROUTINE INTO FIDAP THE FOLLOWING PARAMETERS WERE SPECIFIED: PROGRAM NAME: FIDAP NEW EXECUTABLE NAME: myfidap.EXE USER SUBROUTINE FILE NAME: fidap_user.F ************************************************** ***************** BEGINNING REBUILD OF FIDAP AT Tue Jul 18 14:38:13 2006 ----------------------------- 'ifort' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. LINK : fatal error LNK1181: cannot open input file "fidap_user.obj" ---------------------------- FINISHED REBUILDING FIDAP AT Tue Jul 18 14:38:14 2006 I have compaq visual fortran 6.6c installed. Anyone had a problem like this? I will appreciate any help on this. Thanks, semetay |

hello,
Not entirely. I installed microsoft visual.net and then intel fortran compiler. then i started command prompt from visual.net tools. I run user_sub command and ifort and link commands inside the user_sub worked. Now the compiler works but I am getting other errors like some of the lib files could not be found. I found and copied those lib files to the working directory, now some other errors (these I didnt understand exactly). I am still working on it but this compiling thing doesnt have a standart solution. are you having the exact same problem?? semetay |

I installed the compare visual fortran 6.5 , the error is just the same as you "errors like some of the lib files could not be found", I have also run it in the linux, only one of it can compiled sucessfully, the oter also give the same error as the above! I have no points about it!
