Hello,
I posted this message 2 days ago. I need help, I tried lots of things but still at the same point. I am running a 2D problem which has solid and fluid elements. Fluid has a free surface. This is a simple represantation of a laser welding problem. I can see the temperature contours and the velocity fields in the melt pool if I use constant material properties. When I try to use temperature dependent mat properties (visc(curve=2) etc.), it doesnt work. In the Fipost it says only mesh could be shown. I generated a 3d mesh as well, exactly the same thing. Why is this happening??? I am new to FIDAP so any help will be appreciated. Please help. Regards, Cumali |

Hi: As far as i know , your range of curve should include all the value that may happen in the calculation ,so i think your range is to narrow! Hi, i also work with the FIDAP, but i can not find any friends, so today ,it is my pleasure to know you! i hope we can communicate more in the futrue. thank you !
