Hello, everyone. Now I try to compile my UDF. But every time, it appear such words as follows: 'nmake' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. 'nmake' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

Do anyone have such experience and explain it to me? Thanks in advance.

In order to compile UDF's you need a compiler installed on your system that Fluent can find (you're running Windows, right?). Assuming that you have a compiler, it sounds like Fluent is not finding it - that may mean that not everything that Fluent wants was installed or set up - so you'll probably want to check on the installation.

this is a common problem which can be solved by installing Visual Studio C++ or similar software. search the forum for nmake or contact FLUENT

You can actually download MS Visual C++ Express from Microsofts web-site for free. This compiler works with Fluent - just remember to set all the system environment variables manually as these are only set temporarily using the C++ command prompt.

You may want to talk to your system administrator about this. I faced a similar problem and the system administrator reinstalled the set up. Then everything was fine.
