non positive volumes exist

Hi,
I am running a 3D transient simulation in fluent 6.1.22. When I first read the mesh in to fluent, I did not have any problems: Grid check was successful. After some iterations however the warning "non-positive volumes exist" appears and after few additional iterations "Error: divergence detected in AMG solver: k Error Object: ()" and the solution fails. I went back to Gambit to check my mesh and, I can't figure out what is wrong. Can anyone help me? Thanx in advance. Moke |

Hi Moke, i just experience the same problem. After several thousends of iterations i got an error message and the next time i wanted to continue with the solution i got exactly the same error... just start from an earlier solution again. maybe that helps. Claud
