Hi I am simulating compressible flow. I use inlet mass flow rate, inlet static pressure and inlet temperature. Also outlet pressure. I need to initialize the flow from inlet as I want to keep inlet pressure fix. When I want to initialize form inlet the it shows access violation and do no initialize. can anybody tell what is the problem? Thanks.

Dear Mech,

You try to intialize from other zones first. then save & quit. open fluent again, and intialize again from the zone u want.. this will work.

Not only initialization, the underrelaxation also plays a role in convergence.

MKP.
