Dear all users; I'm working with dynasmic mesh model of FLUENT6.2. I turn on smothing and remeshing option. But after several iterations I received this erroe:
Warning: negative volume detected --> repeat smoothing Warning: negative volume detected --> repeat smoothing Warning: negative volume detected --> repeat smoothing WARNING: non-positive volumes exist. Error: Update-Dynamic-Mesh failed. Negative cell volume detected. Error Object: () What should I do? with the best regards, ROOZBEH |

Hi,
I had the same problem with In-cylinder modeling. In the dynamic mesh zones panel define the min and max length scales (with correct units!!) and the max skewness for the deforming zone. Check if you have the correct zone (defined as fluid in the boundary conditions panel)! When this does not work, try decreasing the time step (or crank angle). Good luck, Jeroen Smits |

could you please guide me the procedure for dynamic meshing because I am totally confused by tutorial it says that we have to create two different mesh and then merge it using T-grid , can anyone explain it to me properly.I want to do incylinder simulation thanks in advance
