hi all , can you pls give me some suggestion or link to a website which describes the difference b/w a good mesh and a bad one. pls help its urgent....

Hi Himanshu, in GAMBIT you can check your mesh for the worst element. It should be not too close to 1 (0.6 or below should be perfect). Furthermore, the cells should be longer than wide (in flow direction). Unfortunatelly, I couldnt check your mesh. Claud

Hi,
select the quality check button -> check the element type 2D/3D -> go for Range option -> then go for skewness check. you can easily see the mesh values for each mesh volume. i hope this will help you. bye san |
