Hi,

Can anyone please tell me how to track the free surface in a VOF simulation?? I'm trying to plot the height of the water level in a tank transfer, but there are no such functions in the surface monitor panels.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I am not sure if your case is the same as mine. I am actually dealing with sloshing problem.

you will need to patch the water level first. After initialize. you can go to surface, then iso-surface, then click on volume fraction, then water, then key in a value like 0.95, then click create. you should be able to track that surface.

Hope that help.
