Dear all.....

I am doing a 3D porous media simulation and while defining the values in porous zone window I face some problem.

I wanted to know how to give the direction vector values....? My domain flow's thru porous media in negative Z direction. What does Direction 1 vector and Direction 2 vector mean ? and according to my problem if I set the direction vector 1 to -1 and the Direction vector 2 as the normal plane. Will that be correct.?

The next question is that How accordingly should I give the inertial resistance with respect to the direction vector's specified above ?

I would be thankful to all those who come forward in answering my queries and helping me. I request you to give me an explanatory answer's.

Thank you

Regards

RASHMI
