Hey there,
Can anyone tell me where to find the text commands needed when "solve-> execute commads" is used? I am trying to display and then record an mpeg video of the evolution of cell squish index (unsteady simulation). /di/sw 1 /di/view/restore-view my_view /di/cont cell-squish-index /* but how to tell I want auto-range? and the rest of the syntax*/ Thanks a million for any advice! Hello,
1.) I donīt know if theres a list of all textcommands somewhere but you can find the way for all execute commands in the text-user-interface. For example when you print di (for display) in the tui and press return then all possible following comands are listed. 2.) If you end your di/cont.... comand with no value then the picture should be autorange. 3.) The comand for hardcopy the picture is : di hc"nameofpicture_%t.jpg" (example for jpgs - I donīt know if there is the possibility to creat a film directly.) 4.) Do you print all your commands in one execute command line? Maybe itīs easier to take one execute comand line per comand Hope that helps |

Hi Gernot,
Thx for your answer: > For example when you print di (for display) in the tui and press return then all possible following comands are listed. cool! this helps indeed. However, how can I guess the abbreviations to enter in the execute command window: For instance, di <=> display, sw<=> set-window, etc. How about other commands? Thanks anyhow, Astozzia |

As per my knowledge you only have the option to save images and then stitch them for the video. Of course that is quite easy. Download the application from the following link it is free and proceed.
