sir/madam,
i am student of Mtech turbomachines from s.v.N.I.T. surat, Gurat state, India. I am doing my Mtech project work and i have to do analysis of axial flow compressor in Fluent 6.2. Problem : I have created inlet flow and exit flow domain and blade domain with blade at Center both for rotor and stator. As my rotor is highly twisted, for stage analysis i have taken two blade domain and one stator domain. I have generated mesh and transport to fluent 6.2 all boundary condition i have given properly. mixing plane generated . here only i am facing problem mixing plane is generated but it is not exchanging temperature from rotor to stator and back . i am getting all relative vectors in direction of flow . i am getting mass flow out of stator . upto rotor outlet rise in total temperature is there. At stator inlet it is taking temperature as 303K what i have give at inlet of rotor. rotor outlet also i am getting same temperature . due to this i am unable to get efficiency in turbo report. also as back pressure (static) rising mass flow reduces but Pressure does not increases. so please help me in this regard so that i can solve this proble with in small time to complet my project work . thanking you ravindra bankar |
