Hello Mazyar, DNS (direct numerical simulation) is not implemented in FLUENT yet, at least as far as I know. Claud

is the DNS simply a laminar simulation with a very fine grid systems? regards |

No, DNS is for turbulent flows where everything is calculated! not even the smalles eddies are modeled. Therefore, since everything is calculated, it is very time consuming and only applied to very easy geometries. But the advantage is that is is very exact. Claud
