Hi, everybody I try to simulate unsteady flow in a corrugated channel. I want to use periodic boundary condition for reduced computatioal domain, but in the fluent mannual said that
"Note that transient simulations for fully-developed fluid flow are not valid with translational periodic flow" Can I use periodic condition with unsteady simulation? Plase tell me :-} Thanks Somchai |

I think the manual means something else. You can use periodic conditions for unsteady flows.
