Adding an attachment to a volume

Hi all,

I have a solid model created in ProE and inported into Gambit as STEP file. I want to add two more faces (created from data points and connected to form edges and then formed into faces using the 'Skin Surface' option).

But for some reason, Gambit does not include these two faces as part of the original volume. What I want is to add these two faces as appendages to the original existing volume. How can I do this?
