Iam unable to predict Vortex shedding for Re=3422 (based on cylider diameter), by using all turbulent model in Fluent. The domain area is 3m x 0.6m .Cylinder is kept at 0.5m from inlet. Outflow boundary is used.

2nd order implicit scheme, Simple and Quick scheme are used for discretization. The time step used for this analysis is 1/10 of the actual period of vortex shedding (based on sthrol number) i.e. 0.0238 sec..

In the same grid, if i choose laminar model for Re=342.2 iam able to predict vortex shedding.

Only turbulent models are not able to predict the actual vortex shedding in this case..

Please let me know from users..
