linearization problem of source term

Hi, if source term is a non-linear function, how to deal with dS in writing UDF code?or, divergence problem will be met.help me pls.

the source term must be linearised with respect to the dependant variable. For example an x-momentum source term is linearised with respect to the x-velocity. I reccomend taking a look at the CFD wiki (http://www.cfd-online.com/Wiki/Sourc..._linearization) or "Numerical heat transfer and fluid flow" by Patankar (1980)
