Errors while eporting mesh to Fluent

Hi,
I have ameshed geometry in Gambit. I used the sizing function to mesh the whole volume, thus ignoring the heirarchy (i.e., mesh edges, faces, volume). For this, I specified 2 faces (these are symmetrical)to be the source faces. But when I tried to export the entire meshed geometry it did not export these edges and a few others and gave an error which said that these edges are not meshed and so could not be exported. I do not understand why this happens and especially because I used the sizing function for the entire volume. Can someone help me with this? Thanks, Vidya |

make sure that all the real vertices are connected. you can do so by zooming to the most possible extent.

Hi mAx and Fred,
The faces and edges that were not exported cannot be connected to each other. So I left them as distinct entities. Is this the reason that they are not being exported? So is there anything that I can do about it? Thanks, Vidya |

take care in the connect options: if you juste have real entities, then select real. If not select virtual (and ALL)
