In my model water is passing through the pipe at a constant flow. My aim is to increase pressure at the outlet by squeezing area close to the outlet of the pipe and also find the pressure at that squeezing point. For this problem I know only pressure and velocity at the inlet. It will be great for me if somebody can suggest me what kind of boundary condition can help me to get the pressure at point(since in pressure outlet boundary condition I need to know pressure at outlet which I don't know). I also would like to know how I can be able to know the exact squeezing area from fluent. Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

Hi, If you work only with velocity inlet, and a pressure outlet with 0 Pa. Fluent will give you the pressure drop, by adjusting the pressure at inlet. If the pressure computed doesn't match your value, then you have to make an offset (operating_pressure = your value - fluent's one). Regarding your squeezing area, I understand moving mesh, like a variable nozzle, in fluent you can create a interior section, where you want (using Sweep Face), and then report the pressure on this section (report / average weighted area), and report also the area (report / surface area) Hope it helps
