For trasient fluctuating velocity, we can do the coordinates transform from cartesian coordinates to cylindrical coordinates. Now, if we have the RMS velocity in cartesian coordinates(x,y,z), how to transform it into RMS velocity in cylindrical coordinates(r,θ,z) ???

Thank you for giving some advice.
