Default boundary layers on a thin wall

hi everybody,

Here an easy question.

I try to create boundary layers on a (infinite) thin wall. But there comes only this massage:

ERROR: Boundary Layer b_layer.5 could not be attached to the volume volume.1, Face face.25 combination, because that Face is dangling in this Volume.

I created the wall by splitting the volume with a face. I am new to Gambit and canīt find something about that in the Help file. Can somebody help me or tell me, in which chapter I can find an answer, please.

Greetings
