problems orientating profile

Hi,
I want to read in the boundary profile xxx into my simulation as a velocity inlet. The profile xxx has the same orientation and the same size as the surface in my geometry that is defined as velocity inlet. But when I start iterating, it turned out, that the profile at the velocity inlet is 90° turned to the original profile xxx. Now I used define->profiles->orient to orient my profile. After that, the only message is "warning: no x,y or z points specified in profile xxx" And I can not iterate... What is the problem? Ralf P.S. has someone the online help for the version 6.2.16 ?? I can only access the 6.0 ant the 6.1 documentation |

Dear Ralf Schmidt
Do you find any solution of the issue. I have the exact same problem as you had! |
