Hi,
I am having a problem with trying to reload a case/data file for visualiation. The problem is a typical flow problem over 3d wing. The solve phase went ok, I am getting an error message when trying to read the case file back: Face ID 0 out of declared range (0<=id<=9384598). Reading Faces: failed while reading section 2013. Clearing partially read grid Error: Read aborted due to critical error. Error Object: #f Has anybody come across this issue? Thanks Wenbin |

If you have your .msh file still, then you can rebuild your case and read in the final data. This only works if the case has the same number of cells as the data, so if you have to rebuild the mesh, this won't work unless you can build exactly the same mesh.
Only time I've had that was because we had a power outage when I was writing the case file. The file became corrupted and I wasn't able to read it again. Luckily I didn't lose too much because I was using the autosave feature during the solution. There may be another way to salvage the case file, but I haven't found it. Of course, I've only had this problem once, so I didn't look too hard. Hope this helps, and good luck, Jason |
