Average turbulence kinetic energy / intensity

Does anyone know how to calculate or find mean values for tubulent kinetic energy and turbulence intensity from Fluent? Fluent gives you instantaneous data, and data-sampling only gives mean velocity data. I would appreciate any insight anyone could give me.
