I have question how can I compile my user defined when I want to run the calaution using batch script where the all the commands are specified in the file.
Also is it possible to save hardcopy of countours of some variable when i run the calculation using batch execution. Q |

I would start Fluent in interactive mode, but before reading in your case or anything, go to File->Write->Start Journal, then open the case and do everything to set it up and attach the UDF. Then go to File->Write->Stop Journal. Now you have a text file that has all the scheme commands to setup your case and you can use this to run your file in batch mode.
After all the scheme stuff to setup the case, then you can write the rest of your journal how ever you normally do. Hope this helps, and good luck, Jason |
