Default Enhanced Wall Treatment?

Can somebody maybe tell me if it is correct that when I use the Enhanced Wall Treatment, for the RNG -k-epsilon method, I can mesh parts with an y-plus of 1, to completely resolve the sublayer, then the 2 layer zonal model will be used. And other parts I can mesh with an y-plus of 30 and then the enhanced wall functions will be used. So I only have to mesh the parts where I want to resolve the boundary layer complete to the sublayer very fine (up to y-plus=1).

Thanks in advance.
