respected sir,
i have constructed a rectangular adiabatic combustion chamber. here it has the fuel inlet surrounded by the air inlet. the fuel air ratio is 1:1.the fuel velocity is 2.79m/sec and air velocity is 10.7m/sec.i am getting the temperature distributionbut as it is adiabatic after sometime the temperature through out the combustion chamber will be uniform. so i decided to carry out unsteady implicit calculation. here i am having doubt in giving the maximum no. of iterations per time step.i have read in the fluent help that it is usually between 10to20 but my solution is not converged in this range. so how should i give maximum no. of iterations and also no of time step? accepting positive response. thanking you |

its not certain to all case it may need 100 or higher iteration in every time step. if your stady state is converged check your phisical condition .
