Default Setting up linear waves using fluent

Has anyone been able to generate simple sinusoidal ocean waves using linear wave theory. If anyone has a simple UDF that can be used or hints on the theory behind how they did it it would be much appreciated. I have tried setting up using the open channel flow with a UDF for horizobntal andf vertical velocities in FLuent 6.2 but could not get the shape to be maintained. Please help...
