Hi all, I want to simulate an unsteady (pulsatile) velocity in Fluent. I have approximated the waveform as sine function of the same frequency, so that it's easier to work with. The equation that I have is
Q = A + B* sin(2*pi*f*t) I have the values of the constants and the frequency, f. How do I send this to Fluent? Do I have to write a code in C to generate this waveform? Or just define the waveform? And how do I do this? I read the Help menu, but could not figure out how to do it. Can someone help me out? Any help will be ppreciated. Thanks a lot. Vidya |

There is an example in the Fluent Manual using a similar case as your. Yes-- you need to type a short UDF using C to achieve this.
