Aerodynamic Stability Derivatives

Hi,
I am wondering if anyone knows how, or can refer me to a source where I can learn how to use Fluent to obtain aerodynamic stability derivatives. I am particular interested in the pitch damping rate (Cmq) but any other stability derivatives would be helpful. I have done a search on CFD-Online and all I found is "You are going into new grounds since Fluent is not reknwned for its aerodynamic accuracy. You are more likely to get better results from other CFD packages, i.e CFX." So anyone who might be thinking of giving a similar answer, my place of work only has money for one CFD package and that was Fluent so I do not get a choice! Andrew |
