I am trying to create a face between an arc and an aerofoil for meshing purposes.I am using the same method as stated in http://instruct1.cit.cornell.edu/cou...uent/airfoil.I keep getting an error message "cannot make wire with dublicate vertices".I double checked all my vertices and realised that vertex G has the same coordinates as the end vertices of the aerofoil.I tried deleting the end ones but it won't let me delete because it forms part of an upper topology.I just don't know what to do from here. Can anyone help please. Thanks

Connect the vertices. In the vertex tools, the connect button is on the top row, second from the right (I think)... it looks like someone is pluggin in two ends of a black extension cord.

If the coordinates are within tolerance, then it will create a single vertex that all the edges share and will automatically delete any extra vertices.

Hope this helps, and good luck, Jason

All I can say is double check your vertices. If there was another reason why the face creation didn't work, then it would usually tell you.

Good luck, Jason
