Hi
Really need some help on gambit here. When I apply pressure outlet and pressure inlet boundary conditions to the 2 ends of my 2D model and tries to export the mesh, error message says boundary condition specified is invalid for fluent 6. Can anyone help? My model is a converging duct with a straight duct connected. thanks a lot. ann |

selce FLUENT as your solver while you are exporting your mesh. This might be one of the reasons that u are facing the problem. I am not sure but hope it will provide you with some pointers.

I have managed to solve the problem by selecting export 2d xy mesh in the export dialogue box besides entering the file name. Thanks.

Try to trace down the problem by checking whether you are selecting the 2D export function or not, or any other operating mistakes. If fluent allows you to select those boundary condition, it is really a small possibility that those boudary condition not suitable for fluent.
