fixing cell values

Hey guys,
Is it possible to fix the static pressure in a fluid cell zone. For example lets pick a cylinder which has a mass flow inlet and a pressure outlet. Now can I create an interior face and fix pressure on that face or pick a layer of hex elements which form a fluid cell zone inside the cylinder and fix static pressure there (I know its easy to fix the velocities for the fluid cell zone but I need to fix the static pressure). Any suggestions!!!! Saurav |

I did it by a UDF, use DEFINE_ADJUST macro for that

hi Aimir:
Would you please say more about UDF, I meet the same problem but I don't know how to program it in C language. Please show us some similar examples. Thanks in advance. kevin |

Hi Kevin, The best way to learn how to develop your own UDF codes is to read UDF manual carefully. There're a bunch of examples there that help you get started. You may also check http://www.fluentusers.com/ to get complementary examples.
Let me know what would you like to do by UDF and I may have something useful for your application. |
