We'd like to buy one of them mainly for particle tracking. I have tried FV. FV is cheaper, Ensight is more powerful but more expensive. Anybody tried both?

Any suggestions are welcome.

Thanks Joe

Joe,

Fieldview is a general purpose CFD post processing software where as EnSight is considered better than that. Well, we use EnSight and its great. I know its expensive but if you want to use it just for particle tracking then FV should be fine - as you would be aware they have Fieldview Extreme coming up as well.

Hope this helped.

Matt
