Gambit meshing

Hello! Is it possible to connect two volumes using hex map, where one of the volumes is a cilinder and the other rectangle.

Dear Bodgan:
Yes it is possible. You can create, mesh and save these two volumes separately as .msh files. Then use tmerge utility to connect them. tmerge utility is in the adress c:\fluent.inc\untility\tmerge2.1\ntx86\... you can use 2D and 3D versions based on your model. First input the smaller mesh file name and then the second. tmerge creates one mesh file with connected volume. Best Regards Mehdi Ghoddosy |
