Grid Check Error

Hi all, iam getting a warning sign saying the Grid Check failed, can anybody tell what the reason is. thnx in advanced.

Check your blocks for orientation. There might be a block that has negetive volume cells in it.

Hi
Fluent warns you about the "Grid Check Failed" I think the problem is negative volume in your Calculational domain. It will appear the value of negative volume in Fluent. You can see it. In my experience, you should not solve Domain so much! hope this help! pah |

You can already check for negative volumes in gambit. Use the option examing mesh with volume as quality kriterion and a range from -1 to 0. You maybe avoid having to export the mesh again.
