Dear all, 1.I am simulating an unsteady compressible flow. How to monitor the timedependent quantities. for example: if i want the velocity at each time step...how can i monitor this data. 2.In FLUENT when i am doing unsteady simulation, if i want to solve a problem, in the iteration panel, there is an option: Data sampling for Time Statistics. What is the use of this option.
Immediate responses are highly appriciated |

1.create a line or a surface where u want to monitor the velocity. u can monitor the volocity using the "solve > monitors > surface" panel. 2. Data sampling for Timestatics gives the time averaged data.
good luck |
